Welcome to my blog!

     Thanks for stopping by “By Mistake or Design.” My name is Courtney.  I’m a 22 year old gal from the East Coast and I’m married to a wonderful man named Joe.  We have an adorable, almost one year old, little boy named Joseph (Joey) who I stay home with. 

     While I love being a stay at home mom, it’s a full-time job and I miss being able to do things for myself! I often find myself on Pinterest, scrolling through the DIY and craft sections thinking, “I could do that,” or “Oh how I miss crafting *sigh*”. Reading those DIY articles on Pinterest led me to some very interesting blogs. I had never understood blogging, I thought they were merely online diaries, and who wants the whole world reading your diary? Not me! But I soon discovered that blogs are so much more than that! They are for sharing your passions and creations! It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted my own blog. I decided I was going to make time to nurture my creative spirit, and share my creations with the world! So here it is. I hope you enjoy :)
